Awakening Wings

“Awakening Wings” Originally titled “Window to My Soul,” this painting serves as an intimate glimpse into my inner world. As the piece evolved, the addition of three delicate butterflies introduced a profound layer of symbolism, prompting a thoughtful renaming to “Awakening Wings.”

The butterflies represent transformation, growth, and the delicate beauty of change. Their presence signifies the soul’s journey from introspection (the window) to a vibrant state of awakening and liberation (the wings). This evolution mirrors my own path of personal growth and the embracing of new beginnings.

The interplay of colors and forms highlights the contrast between the stillness of the window and the dynamic movement of the butterflies. This juxtaposition emphasizes the transition from a contemplative state to one of active emergence and freedom. “Awakening Wings” encapsulates this transformative moment, celebrating the soul’s ability to rise, evolve, and soar towards new horizons.
