My friend Ferial, introduce me to a poet writer name Sabah Yacoub who was in need for artworks that reflect his poem. As I read his poem,
Poem title “ Bobble Braids ” Paragraph #5
“Look at the birds on the branches’ tree chirping as they want in the air, free.
Isn’t that glimmer in your eyes the shine of youth?
Even Jupiter and Saturn are jealous of the truth. “
the flood of imaging, of the youth, the birds chirping and the Saturn above the sky hovering above the earth, all ready for me to sketch and hopping to paint one day. A flood of joy and happiness consumed me, and I realize how lucky I am to have to a heavenly feeling.
Mr. Yacoub wanted the art to be simple, symbolic and in sketchy style. I jump to the opportunity, and I was inspirited by description of paragraph #5 in his poem that he sends me.
Every time I read a poem, or a book that it touches My heart, I pose, and take time to analysis it, explore it and visualize it. I am always fascinated to connect the sots between word, image and color to create visual art that will touch your soul.
Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words. Robert Frost
