Created in honor of those born in June, this painting reflects the Gemini spirit—light-filled, curious, expressive, and always in motion.
June arrives softly, carried by roses and honeysuckle.
The rose symbolizes the heart, emotional expression, and meaningful connection. Honeysuckle speaks of warm memories, home, and the gentle pull toward joy. Together, they celebrate the beauty of growth, wonder, and the unfolding journey of life.
Inspired by the teachings of Paul Klee, I approached this painting through movement rather than description. As Klee wrote:
“The eye follows the paths that have been laid out for it in the work.”
The lines, colors, shapes, and spirals guide the viewer through the composition in a continuous flow—inviting both the eye and the heart to wander, reflect, and return again.
June A celebration of light, duality, imagination, and becoming.
